Bound Belly Dancer Bionic Woman

This is a request by :icondragon123r: for Jaime Sommers, the Bionic Woman, being bound and gagged in her belly dancer in the episode "Jaime and the King." This was not one of the better episodes with stereotypes of Arabs and she having to wear a belly dancer costume.  I am sure that Lindsey Wagner would not be to upset if this episode was lost in some fire, though some of her fans would be devastated by this.

Jaime Sommers is a former professional tennis player who, after a skydiving accident, became the third known human to undergo bionic surgery (after Steve Austin and Barney Hiller) and the first known female to do so. Afterwards, she became an agent for the OSI.

After a skydiving accident left her broken and near death, a top secret OSI-funded surgery turned the tennis pro into the world's first bionic woman. The procedure was apparently successful initially, and she commenced training to utilize her bionic abilities. However, subsequent bionic rejection led to the formation of a blood clot at the base of her brain, the attempted removal of such leaving her medically defined dead on the operating table. Miraculous cryogenic procedures and further surgery later restored her to life, but left her without most of her long-term memories. Subsequent treatments gradually lessened her memory loss, while she struggled to map out a new life for herself.

Thinking her bionics would have given her an unfair advantage on the tennis court, Jaime left the sport following her surgeries. She returned to her home town of Ojai, California, and used her college degree in education to become a school teacher at a local military base. But she also insisted upon repaying her debt to the government that saved her life by occasionally going on secret missions that required her unique assets, though her relationship with the OSI was a strained one, particularly in later years.

Lindsay Wagner makes little distinction between her life as an actress, advocate, mother or author. What unites these various parts is a commitment through her work and her personal life to exploring and advancing human potential.

Lindsay first came to prominence in the critically-acclaimed role of Susan Fields in The Paper Chase (1973), but received household recognition worldwide when she broke the mold for women on television with her iconic portrayal of Jaime Sommers. As she collaborated with the writers, The Bionic Woman (1976) became an inspiration around the world and, in 1977, Lindsay won the Emmy for "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series".

Her now-strong influence in the media and a desire to use that as a way to communicate ideas to help people in their personal journey is demonstrated in so many of the films in which she starred, such as: The Incredible Journey of Doctor Meg Laurel (1979), the struggle between naturopathic and allopathic healthcare; I Want  to Live (1983), the moral dilemma regarding capital punishment; Child's Cry, child sexual abuse (1986); The Taking of Flight 847: The Uli Derickson Story, some root complexities of terrorism (1988); Evil in Clear River, the quiet rise of the Neo-Nazi movement in America (1988); Shattered Dreams, on family violence, which she also co-produced (1991); Fighting for My Daughter, highlighting the problem of teen prostitution (1995); Thicker Than Water, expressing compassion for the animal kingdom and the importance of family (2005); Four Extraordinary Women, the emotional effect of breast cancer on family members (2006). As a result of the volume of her successful productions, she was often referred to as the "Queen of TV Movies".

Lindsay has long been acknowledged as one of the top leading spokespersons in the United States, a role she took very seriously with regard to the impact it would have on the public, which in turn reinforced her position as a respected voice in the community. She was given a Genii Award as "Performer of the Year" in 1985. Lindsay has co-authored a bestselling vegetarian cookbook, "The High Road to Health" (1990) and "Lindsay Wagner's New Beauty: The Acupressure Facelift" (1986). She has recently released a meditation CD, "Open to Oneness".

Off-screen, Lindsay is passionate about the study and sharing of holistic healing modalities, integrating mind, body and spirit. For 25 years, she has been the Honorary Chair of ICAN (Inter-Agency Council on Child Abuse and Neglect). She has also been heavily involved in human rights, domestic violence, animal welfare and the environment. From 200: :3-2006, in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Lindsay co-facilitated a counseling group for convicted batterers and their families. Her work utilized a range of psychological and spiritual techniques.

For the public, Lindsay facilitates experiential "Quiet the Mind & Open the Heart" workshops and retreats. These programs are designed to help overcome our own personal challenges, while accessing the peace and joy that is naturally within us. Lindsay offers these programs to the public as well as special interest groups as a way of sharing, that which has greatly impacted her life.

Jaime and the King: Jaime is called to Monte Carlo as a tutor for Ishmael, the Crown Prince of a Persian Gulf nation, Almain. Despite her protest of using her teaching as a cover for a job, Jaime agrees to accept the mission in order to save the Prince and his father from assasins. Upon meeting Ishmael and the Shah, Ali Ben Gazim, Jaime learns some of the customs she is expected to observe, and is given instructions by Gazim as to the direction he wants Ishmael's lessons to take. During his first lesson, Jaime demonstrates her own strength to Ishmael by breaking six boards, and explains that it is more important to know when to use strength. With this, the Crown Prince accepts Jaime as his teacher. While Ishmael continues to study, Jaime hears Gazim explaining to Hassan that he will not raise the price of oil. Hassan makes a call to an unknown man and discusses the need to kill Gazim. Meanwhile, Ishmael discovers Jaime's radio, and believing her to be a spy, turns her over to his father. Jaime reveals her identity as an OSI agent, but Gazim remains unwilling to accept the help of the U. S. government. As she is escorted out of the villa, Jaime hears Hassan speaking with Gazim's enemies about the plan to kill the Shah. Mention is made to an agent codenamed "emerald".  Warned by the secretary to discontinue any further involvement, Oscar orders Jaime to not to interfere. However, Jaime uses her bionics to jump over a gate and through an open window.  Meanwhile, Hassan reviews a procession of dancing girls, instructing Gazim's majordomo to bring him "the one with the emerald" - revealing that Hassan's assassin is a dancing girl who wears an emerald in her navel.

Disguising herself as one of the dancing girls, Jaime is nonetheless discovered by Ishmael. Realizing that the young prince has been taught to respect strength, Jaime reveals her bionic powers to him, convincing the Prince that she is there to help.  The two sneak into Hassan's office to look for a bomb. Unsuccessful, Jaime and Ishmael are about to leave when they are caught by Gazim. Told by Ishmael that Jaime is one of the dancing girls, Gazim instructs Jaime to go to his room where she will prove herself as a dancing girl by performing the "dance of the veils".  Jaime frantically tells Ishamel that she doesn't know how to dance - the incredulous prince having been convinced that all women know the dance of the veils.  Using instinct (and having observed one of the dancing girls in practice when she first snuck into the villa) Jaime begins dancing.  Hearing the bomb, Jaime continues to dance until she locates it, and throws it outside seconds before it explodes. Gazim is convinced that she was there to kill him and commands the guards to take her away. Hassan retrieves a gun for a more direct method of killing the Shah. As Gazim addresses the delegates, Ishmael helps Jaime escape. However, Major-Domo attempts to stop Jaime by engaging her in a sword fight. Using her bionics to defeat Domo, Jaime and Ishmael race to the conference and stop Hassan before he had a chance to kill Gazim. As a gesture of thanks, Gazim instructs his wives to conduct themselves with dignity and no longer convey subservience.
