Jubilation "Jubilee" Lee Jacked

 This is for the Western Civilization Board Monthly Art Theme July: Jubilee - Jubilation Lee, the best Wolverine sidekick to ever grace an X-men comic. She has plenty of bad situations that her sparkly fireworks powers can't get her out of. Let's explore that.

We have Jubilee of Marvel Comics X-Men franchise and X-Men Animated Series whiich I think a lot of people know of the character. Which is not the worst ouftit she has worn.

We have Jubilee in her Generation X school uniform being kidnapped. She has been hog tied and gagged in some room.

 

If you thought her costume in the X-Men animated series was hideous, this was her original costume when she joined the X-Men. It was a combo of Dazzler's top, Storm's vest, Rogue's tights and boots. This outfit would be okay. if your base was bombed and savaging for clothes.

 We have Jubilee of X-Men franchise has been kidnapped as a PLayboy bunny. Now she has been bound aand ball gagged in some hideout.

 We have Jubilee in the classic blue and yellow of the X-Men. Even Wolverine wore this outfit.

We have Jubilee when she was turned into a vampire and has been captured by someone.

It seems that Jubilee has run into her evil twin and been replaced. Maybe it is Mystique, a clone, from a different time line or just a robot. The original has been left blindfolded, bound and gagged to a pole. 

We have Sparrow (Jubilee and Robin mix) of Amalgam Comics Dark Claw (Wolverine and Batman mix) franchise has been captured by Dark Claw's rogue gallery. Now Sparrow is left as a trap for Dark Claw.

Sparrow (AKA: Jubilation Lee) is an Amalgam Comics character and sidekick to Dark Claw. She first appeared in Legends of the Dark Claw #1. Sparrow is a combination of Robin of DC Comics and Jubilee of Marvel Comics. It is notable that in the Marvel vs. DC storyline, these two characters actually had a relationship during the crossover.

(Shadow of the Dark Claw #1) - Jubilation Lee's parents were killed by metamutant-hunting Sentinel robots, forcing the young metamutant to hide in New Gotham's largest shopping mall. In the deep sub-basement caverns of the shopping mall, Jubilation tripped across a trap set for Dark Claw (Logan Wayne), who was ambushed, wounded, and facing the possibility of death if he couldn't get away from his pursuers. Although Dark Claw eventually escaped, he was in rough shape, and Jubilation's metamutant light show helped him to get away safely. Impressed by her attitude and abilities, Logan Wayne took the young girl under his wing. Jubilation wanted to adopt the alias "Death Urge Overdrive," but Dark Claw insisted that she instead take the name "Sparrow."

Although Sparrow thought her powers were the solution to every problem, Dark Claw worked hard to get her to rely on her brain, information resources, and strategic planning first, actually placing herself in physical danger only as a last resort.

Sparrow has an extensive training in martial arts, forensic, criminology, acrobatics, stealth, disguise, and escapology.

Her naturally high intellect allows her to excel in computer science and more importantly as a skilled detective. Sparrow has a firm grasp of assorted scientific techniques including biology, engineering and genetics. She is also a brilliant and experienced strategist with impressive leadership skills.

Sparrow has the mutant power to generate bright bursts of energy plasmoids from her fingertips. The globules obey her mental control, traveling where she directs them, arranging themselves in balls, streamers, and other shapes, and exploding when she wishes. The strength of the energy can range from a multitude of colorful sparkles capable of temporarily blinding a person to a powerful detonation capable of smashing objects and destroying property, or a precision burst inside a human's brain simulating the effects of a massive stroke. Sparrow can absorb the fireworks back into her own body without harm.

Jubilation "Jubilee" Lee is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, most commonly in association with the X-Men. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Marc Silvestri, the character first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #244 (May 1989).

Jubilee is a member of the human subspecies known as mutants, born with superhuman abilities. She can generate pyrotechnic energy blasts from her hands. Introduced as an orphaned "mall rat" from Beverly Hills, Jubilee joined the X-Men in the early 1990s, becoming the team's youngest member and often playing a sidekick role to her father-figure, Wolverine.

Jubilee eventually joined the junior team Generation X, and was a prominent character in the 1990s-era X-Men animated seies. In late 2004, Marvel launched a self-titled six-part limited series for Jubilee set in Los Angeles, written by Robert Kirkman. In early 2011, she appeared in the four-part limited series Wolverine and Jubilee, written by Kthryn Immonen.

The character is one of the depowered mutants who later reappeared using technology-based powers in the New Warriors comic book series. In 2010, she was turned into a vampire during the "Curse of the Mutants" storyline. She was recently cured of her vampirism and had her mutant powers restored by a shard of the Phoenix Force.

Jubilee has cameo appearances in the first three X-Men films, portrayed by Katrina Florece in the first film, and by Kea Wong in its two sequels. In the 2016 film X-Men: Apocalypse, she was portrayed by Lana Condor.

The daughter of two prosperous Chinese immigrants, Jubilation "Jubilee" Lee was born in Beverly Hills, Calfornia, where she lived with her wealthy parents. An immensely talented gymnast, she was believed to have the potential to participate in the Olympic Games. However, her life was destroyed when her parents were murdered by the hitmen Reno and Molokai.

Jubilee was sent to an orphanage, but she ran away and hid in the Hollywood Mall, stealing food to survive. She first discovered her mutant power to generate blinding and explosive energy blasts (what she herself refers to as "fireworks") while running away from mall security. The stress of running away from the security guards caused Jubilee to emit a large light energy blast while in a back alley. This completely disoriented the men and allowed her to escape. Upon learning about her mutant ability, she realized she could earn money by using her powers to entertain customers in the mall.

The mall security attempted to put an end to her unauthorized performances, but she constantly eluded them. They hired the M-Squad, a company of professional mutant hunters, to capture her. Jubilee is rescued by X-Men members Dazzler, Psylocke, Rogue, and Storm. Curious about the women, she tracks them to the portal leading back to their base in the Outback and steps through.

Jubilee stays in hiding in the base, as she has never heard of the X-Men and has no idea how they might react to her presence.[4] She steals food and borrows clothes from several of the X-Men to create a makeshift costume for herself. She is attacked by a cybernetic dog, and forced to use her powers in self-defense by blowing up the beast. This is the first time Jubilee learns her powers can do real damage, although a later retcon has her first manifestation causing destruction on a similar scale.

While sneaking around the caverns in the Outback base, Jubilee witnesses the X-Man Wolverine being captured and tortured by the Reavers. Jubilee is terrified of the Reavers, but unable to convince herself to abandon a fellow human being to such suffering. During a respite from the torture sessions, Jubilee helps Wolverine back to her hiding spot in the complex, where she does her best to nurse him back to health. Before Wolverine has completely recovered, he and Jubilee are forced to abandon their sanctuary when the Reavers hunt them down. The pair escape and make their way to Madipoor. They battle the Mandarin and Matsu'o Tsurayaba's Hand. Jubilee holds her own while fighting against the highly skilled Hand, and blows up part of the Mandarin's castle with her powers when she, along with Wolverine and Psylocke, is taken prisoner.

Afterward, Jubilee teams up with Wolverine on several of his missions throughout the world. She does not handle traveling well, as she desires American food and luxuries. She helps Wolverine in battle when he becomes involved with well-intentioned but violent mercenaries.

Alongside Wolverine and Psylocke, Jubilee battles Hardcase and the Harriers. She also meets the Black Widow and participates in a mission to rescue several kidnapped New Mutants from Genosha. Against her protests, Wolverine places her in charge of looking after Boom Boom and Rictor and meeting up with X-Factor. The three survive on the streets of the island nation before meeting up with the other X-Men. After meeting the X-Men, she travels with them to the Shi'ar Empire, but is captured by the Warskulls. She also briefly falls under the control of the Shadow King, along with the X-Men and numerous others.
