We have Paul Schaeffer of Care Bears episode "Mayor for a Day" being kidnapped in the nude. Now this former mayor for a day is bound and gagged in some deserted place.
Paula Schaeffer is a supporting character who appeared in the 13th episode of DIC's Care Bears
TV series, "Mayor for a Day." While participating in her town's annual
"Mayor-for-a-Day" campaign, the contest becomes rigged by Professor
Coldheart, who ends up fixing the ballots in his favor. As he begins his
reign of terror by convincing all the local children to cheat and
steal, Paula must team up with the Care Bears to take him down.
As
the children of the town of Abbottsville take part in the annual
"Mayor-for-a-Day" festivities, Professor Coldheart hatches a plan to
take over the populace by rigging the votes in his favor. By exchanging
all the ballots with his own, he easily sweeps the election and becomes
the new town head.
Paula begins to notice something isn't right when the children of the town not only begin to behave badly, but are actually encouraged by Mayor Coldheart to do so. Teaming up with Tenderheart, Funshine Bear, Friend Bear, and Cheer Bear, they attempt to confront him at the town hall, but the bears end up getting thrown in jail by Frostbite. Bedtime Bear, who was asleep in the Cloudmobile the whole time, wakes up and frees them, and together with Paula is able to rally the rest of the town against Coldheart.
In the re-held election, Paula is elected mayor-for-a-day in Coldheart's place.
